Melissa Frederickson is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz where she majored in Film & Digital Media. While there, she made five short films and was a part of six other productions. She took numerous amounts of production classes and was a part of UCSC's Film Production Coalition. After taking an engaging course on John F. Kennedy taught by Daniel Sheehan, she became an intern for him at his non-profit law organization, the Romero Institute, that specialized in securing rights for the Lakota people in South Dakota. 

 

After earning her Bachelor's Degree, she was selected to participate in the Disney College Program. During this experience, she was able to take classes in leadership while also working at Disney California's Paradise Pier as a Food & Beverage cast member. The experience allowed her to mingle with many quirky and unique personalities, which serves as an inspiration to her upcoming comedic shorts.

 

She is currently residing in Los Angeles, California where she has just graduated with a Master's degree in Film & Television Production at Loyola Marymount University. In the future, Melissa hopes to be part of the writer's room for late night talk shows while working her way up to writing/directing comedic features films and television programs.
